So you send your kid to school and then they want to give your child a flu shot. You say, “No.”
And this is what happens to you…
This country has gotten so mixed up with too many “do-gooders” trying to get involved in every aspect of our lives.
Here’s a newsflash to every liberal out there: We don’t want what you’re selling!
The 1st amendment expressly prohibits the United States Congress from making laws “respecting an establishment of religion” or that prohibit the free exercise of religion.
So this attorney who demeaningly asks, “When you talk to God….” and continues to badger the “witness” over her religious beliefs or practices is violating her right, as a parent to exercise her religion.
He should be thrown in jail!
I can remember the first time hearing a band called “Pearl Jam” in my senior year in high school, 1990/91. I watched a video on MTV and thought, “wow, that’s pretty cool.” I proceeded to be the first of my friends (or anyone else I knew at the time) to rush out a few days later after scrapping up the money to buy the CD for $14.99.
My friends kind of said, “What a waste of money.” Remember, Pearl Jam wasn’t big and their album cover, at that time, looked a little corny for the times (band members posing as a team in a huddle with hands raised - the album cover was named after a Seattle Sonic).
This album came on the brink of the end of the big hair bands dressed half like women and wearing make-up and such.
Pearl Jam was a cross between 60’s rock and Metalica. They dressed like me and were saying things that I could relate to. Instead of “Smokin in the Boys Room” or “Lick It Up”, I got “Once”, “Black”, “Alive”, “Jeremy”, and “Garden of Stone”…….”Evenflow” (a song in its own universe).
I lent the CD to my friend after hearing “Jeremy” and he called me back later that same day and said, “Uhhh, dude, this is pretty good. That song Jeremy…uuhh, this album is incredible.” It was spoken just like that with broken english.
Fond memories indeed. There are many of us out there that share these feelings. The success of the band and their fight against the norm I respect immensely. It’s what makes them “ultra cool”.
Vedder’s politics of course is a different story.
While the name of this website is to induce bi-partisanship and a send wedge-like stake through the difference between “liberals” and “conservatives”; at heart, I’m just a guy who is having some fun with political opinion. So I’ll say that as long as both sides always have the right to express their opinions (no “fairness doctrines”), I’m totally cool with opposing opinions.
I wonder if Vedder thinks the same way? Well, at heart, as a liberal, less thinking is involved in the process of formulating opinion about politics, so I’ll rephrase that question: I wonder if Vedder feels the same way about the “fairness” doctrine?
His politics are bad, but songs like “Glorified G” I could listen to over and over and not care one wink about the politics. It’s the music and Vedder’s right to express himself openly and freely that matters.
That’s it.

Ask yourself this question. If you could print money for yourself and use that money to spend more, and you were allowed to make purchases with this money that you printed while telling the government, you’ll pay it back at a later date (IOU), would you consider that a safe investment?
Think of your credit cards. We use them essentially when we don’t have money. We borrow it and in the future pay it back.
In this case, you’re borrowing on debt (you’ve already borrowed) and now in this circumstance, you’re borrowing on the same credit card that’s already maxed out, to pay down a portion of that debt.
And the crazy thing is, you’re buying your own debt back.
Whether you’re a conservative or liberal, whatever you are CLICK THIS LINK.
It’s the Glenn Beck program - but it means nothing. What’s important is we realize the severity of our situation. The government is printing money to pay to buy it’s own debt and issuing a gigantic IOU.
It has begun. The government has run out of money and is running out of investors. Not good.

The environment is at risk for total destruction…or so Al “Bore” Gore would have us think.
If we take a few deep breaths, maybe we can step back and see what’s going on. Click Here For The Story.
President Obama making fun of special olympics and really saying something so inappropriate is a shame. I kind of actually feel bad for the President. The interview, as a whole seemed harmless (I’m not even going to comment on the whole notion that him being on the Jay Leno show is a mistake and something an active president shouldn’t do).
Here it is in case you didn’t hear or see it:
You can chalk it up to a lack of experience or maybe just being human. I’m not going to sit here all high and mighty and say that I’ve never made an inappropriate comment in my life. I would sound like most holier-than-thou congress members waving a finger at a sex scandal while they’re getting laid in some cheap motel that night by their mistress.
However, I’m not the President Of The United State Of America.
That was not “cool” what he said. And let me say this - if it were George W. Bush who said it (he would never - sure he was a bumblin’ stumblin’ son of a gun, but he never insulted a whole class of people - not to mention a protected class like the disabled)…but if it were President Bush who said it, my goodness, the media would be all over it.
Have you heard this on major media outlets?
Sure it may get picked up here and there and maybe next week it will become big news, but wow, if Bush said something like that or even if Bush was on Leno during these times, he would have been ripped into the next dimension by the likes of just about anyone in the mass media.
The more I think about it, I just can’t believe this guy is the President of the USA…

I know it’s only a 1/3 of what Rush Limbaugh makes, but the big difference is, Rush doesn’t point the finger at othe rich people and say how “evil” they are.

Here we are making all the wrong moves , accomplishing nothing of any value for our posterity. Not one repub rep vote for the pork package, and the idiot rep senators that did will have to answer for their stupidity. The AIG debacle is a result of the Pres… and his stupid cronies attempting to gut the american way of life, not reading the contents of the pork bill BEFORE VOTING FOR IT, we are all responsible we should be camped out in DC letting the bastards have it.
But not to worry your Pres… is on his way to CA. with his teleproptor to do late night with Leno, WHILE ROME IS BURNING. I hope you all enjoy the $13 you will be getting in your check, America wake up, before its too late, O bammy and Dodd should return campaign contributions to us, yes AIG donated to both of those scumbags, our money while Barney Frank had his lover work for Fannie May, and on and on!
When do we wake up? Geithner knew of the bonuses. And this is the guy we just had to have as treasurer? A crook! To sit and watch these scumbags grill Liddy on AIG makes my stomach turn, not that I care about Liddy, but it’s politics as usual. Wake up America! Wake up Now!

So we’re in a war on terrorism…or it’s called something else now since Barack Hussein Obama took office right? You can’t use the term, “War On Terror”. What a joke. This guy is out to lunch.
As I see it, the plan now is to shut down Guantanomo. Dick Cheney gave his thoughts on how well Barack Hussein Obama is starting off his presidency.
Not to regurge republican talking points, because I find that very butt scratchy - but I must say it’s downright scary how Obama is going about taking on the office of the presidency.
“So this guy I know is a real downer…” Ever talk about someone like that? Every time they open their mouth you kind of ask to yourself, “Oh boy, now what?”
I think President Obama is that kind of guy. He can’t help himself from using sensationalistically fatalistic language when talking about the economy. It’s like, “Okay dude, we get the picture - banks are hurting, people are hurting…”
It’s like the local news at 10pm - “We’ve got bad news. More bad news. Extremely bad news - oh and now the weather. Okay more bad news. Now sports. And more bad news at 11…” - only with Pres. Obama, it’s like local news on steroids, namely because he’s the president and anything he says is magnified.
I speak to more people who increasingly say, “Man, that guy (President Obama) won’t shut up about talking down the economy.”
Conservatives like Rush Limbaugh, got flack for saying they don’t want him to succeed. Well it’s kind of like the president doesn’t want the US economy to succeed.
Here’s a hint Pres….try not to insert foot in mouth - keep it shut for a few days. Talk about the flowers on the East Lawn or something. Give out some more DVD’s or something. Watch a happy movie. Chill…

I titled this, Tax Deductions For The Rich, for good keyword purposes but it’s really just about this site www.bringbackthededuction.org/.
Now that’s something that just makes sense, bringing back the personal tax deduction for credit card, auto loan and personal loan interest. What an incredible idea. It makes perfect sense.
Politicians continue talking about “stimulating” the economy, but putting more money back into every single tax payers pocket is just the best place to start.
